PERSONAL STANDARD LICENCE

1. Licence grant

Europe In Frame grants the licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence to use the licensed photograph for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these terms.

The licence applies only to the photograph identified in the relevant order or licence record.

2. Duration

The licence is granted for an indefinite period, subject to compliance with these terms.

3. Permitted use

The licensed photograph may be used for:
- personal reference;
- private digital display on devices owned or controlled by the licensee;
- personal prints for private display;
- reasonable backup and archival copies for the licensee's own use;
- other private, non-commercial use consistent with these terms.

4. Personal prints

Personal prints may be made only for the licensee's private, non-commercial display.

Prints may not be sold, distributed, supplied as merchandise or used for business, advertising, promotional or other commercial purposes.

5. Limited modifications

The licensee may make reasonable technical adjustments required for a permitted personal use, including resizing, cropping and ordinary colour or exposure adjustments.

Such adjustments do not transfer copyright or create ownership rights in the licensed photograph.

6. Commercial and public use

Commercial, business, advertising, promotional, revenue-generating and other professional use is not permitted.

The licence does not grant publication, editorial, commercial, merchandising or advertising rights.

7. Attribution

Attribution is not required for permitted personal use.

8. Territory

The licence is valid worldwide.

9. Resale, sharing and redistribution

The licensed photograph may not be:
- resold;
- sublicensed;
- transferred to another person;
- redistributed;
- shared as a standalone downloadable file;
- uploaded to a public file repository or file-sharing service;
- offered as part of another product, service, collection or template.

Reasonable private backup storage does not constitute redistribution.

10. Artificial intelligence and machine learning

The licensed photograph may not be used to train, fine-tune, evaluate or develop an artificial intelligence or machine-learning model, or included in a dataset intended for such purposes, unless Europe In Frame grants separate written permission.

11. Ownership and copyright

Copyright and all ownership rights in the licensed photograph remain with the copyright holder.

Purchasing or downloading the photograph does not transfer copyright, authorship or ownership of the underlying photographic work.

12. Prohibited use

The licensed photograph may not be:
- used unlawfully;
- represented as the licensee's own original photographic work;
- used in a way that falsely suggests authorship, ownership, endorsement or affiliation;
- used outside the scope of the rights expressly granted by this licence.

13. Termination

Europe In Frame may terminate this licence if the licensee materially breaches these terms and, where the breach is capable of remedy, fails to remedy it within a reasonable period after receiving notice.

Upon termination, the licensee must cease any use that is no longer authorised by this licence.

Termination does not affect any mandatory rights or remedies available under applicable law.

14. Mandatory rights

Nothing in this licence excludes, restricts or limits any right, remedy, guarantee or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights.

Where mandatory law conflicts with these licence terms, the mandatory law prevails to the extent of that conflict.

15. Licence version

These are the Personal Standard Licence terms, version 1.0.

The licence applicable to a purchase is the version identified and recorded with the relevant order.
